Privacy policy

TVpick is an independent television comparison site. You can browse without an account. We do not ask for your name, phone number, address or payment details to use the site, and we do not use visitor data for personalised advertising or build visitor profiles. Some data is nevertheless processed to deliver the site, respond to messages and load third-party services.

Site requests and your choices

Your browser sends technical information to our servers and hosting or network providers, including your IP address, browser information, requested URLs and request times. Requests may also include a referring page. Search text, filters and the television IDs you compare are sent to our API to return results; some choices also appear in the page URL. Avoid putting personal or sensitive information in searches or URLs. We do not associate these choices with a user account or maintain a personal browsing profile.

The comparison tray is held in browser memory. The current application does not use its own cookies, local storage or session storage to track visitors, and does not include analytics trackers or advertising pixels. Technical request information may appear in server or provider logs used to operate the site, diagnose faults and prevent abuse.

When you contact us

If you email [email protected], we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use this to respond, investigate corrections or complaints and keep related correspondence. Report-an-error links prefill the page URL in your email app; a message is sent only if you choose to send it. Please remove any private information from the URL or message and do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal documents. Our email provider also processes correspondence to deliver and store email.

Third-party services and links

• Hosting and network services. Providers receive technical request data to deliver and protect the site. Their logging, security and retention practices also apply.
• Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and request information when your browser connects.
• YouTube videos. Video thumbnails are served by us. A YouTube player loads only when you choose to play a video, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Google then receives technical and playback information and may use cookies or similar storage. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no data is processed. • Retailer links. Following a retailer link takes you to another website, where its own privacy policy applies. Retailers and affiliate networks may record referrals and use cookies or similar technologies. If we introduce affiliate links, this may allow a purchase to be attributed to TVpick and earn us a commission. We do not receive your payment details or process your purchase on TVpick. Use, sharing and retention

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. Technical information and correspondence may be processed by service providers for the purposes described above, or disclosed when required by law or needed to address abuse or legal claims. Providers may process information outside India under their own policies.

We retain correspondence as needed to handle the request and related follow-up or legal obligations. Technical log retention depends on the server and provider configuration; we do not promise immediate deletion or a fixed retention period for provider logs.

Privacy requests

Write to [email protected] with privacy questions or to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you have sent us. We will review and respond in accordance with applicable law. We may need information to verify the request, and some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons. Requests about information held independently by Google or a retailer should also be directed to that provider.

Children

TVpick is intended for adult shoppers. We do not seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review its removal.

Changes

We will update this policy when our data practices change, including before introducing accounts, analytics or advertising trackers. The “Last updated” date shows the current version.
